We are thrilled to welcome Rolanda Thomas as the new Chief Operating Officer at New Life Community Alliance! With a strong background in economic development, operations, and strategic planning, Rolanda brings valuable expertise to our team.
Prior to joining NLCA, Rolanda was a consultant in the private sector. She was also Managing Director and Vice President of Operations and Business Development with Decide DeKalb Development Authority, where she managed day-to-day operations, business development efforts and board relations. Rolanda also led the implementation of DeKalb County’s first economic development strategic plan. Prior to joining Decide DeKalb, Rolanda served as Director of Business Affairs for DeKalb County Government’s Office of the CEO.
Rolanda is also deeply committed to the community, serving on boards and volunteering with various nonprofits. She is also a graduate of Leadership DeKalb and the Atlanta Women’s Foundation Inspire Atlanta Program, as well as a member of the Atlanta Business Chronicle’s 40 Under 40. We are excited to have her leadership at NLCA!
