Bridging the Early Learning Gap: New Life Early Learning Academy Now Enrolling in Decatur
A Collaborative Effort Between New Life Church and NLCA

DECATUR, Ga. (March 19, 2025) — Access to quality early childhood education is a growing challenge in Decatur, but families now have an alternative solution. New Life Church and New Life Community Alliance (NLCA) are excited to announce the official opening of New Life Early Learning Academy in early March 2025. Designed to fill the gap in affordable, high-quality early learning options, the academy provides a nurturing, academically rich environment for infants to preschool-aged children.

“Early education is critical, but too many families in our community struggle to find a high-quality, accessible option,” said Pastor Marlin Harris. “The New Life Early Learning Academy is our response to that need—ensuring that every child, regardless of their financial circumstances, has the opportunity to start strong.”

The academy is now accepting enrollments and will operate from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM, providing breakfast, lunch, and snacks for all enrolled children. To ensure accessibility, the academy accepts private tuition as well as families receiving assistance through the Childcare and Parent Services (CAPS) program.

“The launch of the New Life Early Learning Academy demonstrates our commitment to fostering the growth and development of young children in our community,” said Michael Bryant, CEO of NLCA. “Through this collaborative effort with New Life Church, we aim to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment that lays a strong foundation for lifelong learning.”
