At New Life Community Alliance’s Warming Station, every number represents a neighbor served, a need met, and a story of hope in the making.

During the 2025 season, we provided critical services to 160 unduplicated clients, offering not just temporary shelter but a pathway to greater stability. Thanks to the support of our community, we were able to meet a wide range of urgent needs:

  • 2,643 bed stays provided safe, warm nights for neighbors seeking shelter.
  • 7,114 meals were served, covering breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
  • 80 comprehensive needs assessments helped connect individuals with longer-term resources.
  • 504 pounds of clothing and 385 hygiene kits were distributed to meet immediate basic needs.
  • 86 showers helped restore dignity and comfort.
  • $1,080 in MARTA transportation fare cards were distributed, helping clients access jobs, services, and housing opportunities.

The faces behind these numbers reflect the diversity of the community we serve. Seniors made up the largest group, with 86% of guests aged 55 and older. Adults between 18 and 55 accounted for 10%, and children made up 4% of those who found refuge at the Warming Station.

We also stood alongside 38 veterans and 12 individuals living with disabilities, offering care, respect, and support during their time of need.

The Warming Station has concluded for the season, but the work of building stability and hope continues. You can still be part of this impact by donating, volunteering, or simply helping to spread the word.

Together, we are creating a stronger, more compassionate community — one neighbor at a time.
