Tammy Stanton Joins Leadership DeKalb Class of 2027!
New Life Community Alliance (NLCA) is proud to celebrate our Director of Social Services, Tammy Stanton. Her dedication to serving our community has earned her a place in Leadership DeKalb’s Class of 2027.
Tammy is one of 67 leaders from across DeKalb County selected for this year’s cohort. She’ll join professionals committed to strengthening the communities they serve through collaborative leadership.
For those who know Tammy and her work at NLCA, the recognition is well deserved.
As Director of Social Services, Tammy plays an important role in connecting individuals and families with resources and support. Her work helps people move toward greater stability. Her work keeps her closely connected to the needs of the people NLCA serves every day.
Now, she’ll bring that experience and perspective to Leadership DeKalb. Over the next year, Tammy and her fellow participants will learn more about DeKalb County. They’ll explore topics like government, education, healthcare, economic development, arts and culture, and quality of life. Along the way, Tammy will connect with leaders from across the county and learn from their experiences.
For Tammy, the opportunity is especially meaningful because of her lifelong connection to DeKalb County.
“Having grown up, learned, and served in DeKalb County, this opportunity is especially meaningful. I look forward to learning alongside fellow leaders and strengthening my impact in the community I proudly call home.”
And Tammy is already bringing plenty of enthusiasm to the experience. As she puts it, she’s honored to represent NLCA in Leadership DeKalb’s Class of 2027, “The Best Class Ever!”
Leadership DeKalb has connected and developed local leaders since 1986. They now have more than 1,700 alumni serving throughout the region.
We’re excited to see the new connections Tammy builds through this program. We also look forward to seeing how this experience strengthens the work she already leads at NLCA.
Congratulations, Tammy! We’re proud to have you representing NLCA and South DeKalb in Leadership DeKalb’s Class of 2027.
