Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta Awarded NLCA $50K Grant to Expand Housing Support

New Life Community Alliance (NLCA) is proud to announce that it has received a $50,000 grant from the Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta.
This investment is part of TogetherATL, the Community Foundation’s five-year strategy to advance racial equity and shared prosperity across the region. Through its Housing and Neighborhoods Fund, the Community Foundation is supporting organizations that serve individuals and families experiencing homelessness and housing instability.
Expanding Support for Neighbors in South DeKalb
At NLCA, we believe stable housing is more than shelter. It is the foundation for opportunity and long-term success.
Across South DeKalb, too many of our neighbors are facing difficult choices as housing costs rise and resources remain limited. NLCA is working to change that by helping families stay in the places they call home while expanding access to affordable housing. Over the next 12 months, this grant will fuel critical services, including rental and utility assistance and pathways to permanent housing.
NLCA is grateful to partner with the Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta in this important work. Their investment reflects a shared vision in which every individual has access to safe, stable housing and the opportunity to thrive.
As this year unfolds, we look forward to sharing stories of impact and transformation made possible through this grant.
