SENATOR RAPHAEL WARNOCK TO SERVE AS KEYNOTE SPEAKER AT DREAM GALA
Celebrating 30 Years of Faith, Service, & Community Transformation at Georgia Aquarium
ATLANTA (December 4, 2025) – New Life Church is proud to announce that U.S. Senator Raphael Warnock will deliver the keynote address at the DREAM Gala, its premier fundraising event, on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2025, from 6:00 to 9:30 p.m. at the Georgia Aquarium’s Oceans Ballroom in downtown Atlanta.
This milestone evening celebrates the 30th anniversary of New Life Church, the founding ministry that launched New Life Community Alliance (NLCA) more than 23 years ago, and honors three decades of transformative impact across the South DeKalb community. With more than 900 guests expected in attendance, the gala will bring the theme A Night to Remember: A Future to Build to life, with an evening of worship, storytelling, celebration, and more.
“This moment is a reflection of the legacy New Life Church has built – and the future we’re committed to shaping,” said Rev. Marlin Harris, Senior Pastor of New Life. “We’re honored to welcome Senator Warnock, a lifelong advocate for justice and equity, as our keynote speaker. His journey and leadership align powerfully with the spirit of the DREAM Campaign and our mission to rebuild the community with faith, dignity, and purpose.”
Proceeds from the evening will be donated to NLCA in support of Phase One of the $550 million DREAM Revitalization Campaign. The first phase includes 32 new income-based homes including 10 single-family residences and 22 townhomes on 3.89 acres in South DeKalb.
The evening will be co-hosted by Atlanta media legends Monica Pearson and Fred Blankenship, with worship led by acclaimed musical artists Phil Thompson and Nicole Denae.

New Life Community Alliance (NLCA) exists to erase the legacy of poverty in South DeKalb and Greater Atlanta by revitalizing neighborhoods into safe, thriving, and economically vibrant communities. As the outreach arm of New Life Church, NLCA has spent over 20 years meeting the practical needs of thousands of families – through dignity services, housing assistance, workforce development, and education.
In 2024 alone, NLCA served more than 5,700 individuals, provided groceries to over 66,000 people, distributed 27 tons of clothing, helped over 170 families prevent homelessness, and delivered employment support to 2,300+ neighbors.
